Dear Awana parents and guardians,
In light of the recent news that COVID-19 has been declared a pandemic by the WHO, RGAC Awana has been observing the situation closely, as well as praying over the best course of action that would protect the health and safety of Awana children, parents, and leaders. Therefore, it is with sadness that we must inform you that RGAC Awana club nights will be on hold indefinitely, until the situation improves. We will notify parents and guardians when Awana resumes again.
COVID-19 has posed a tremendous challenge to many communities around the world. With the growing fear and uncertainty, it is important to note that anyone - regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or age - can contract and transmit this virus. As the Church, we cannot allow discrimination of any single demographic or people group. Instead, where fear breeds, show love; when uncertainty rises, find hope in Christ; as the daily struggle continues, pray harder than ever. Thank you for joining us in keeping our communities safe and healthy.
Stay safe and see you all soon,
Vulcan Siu
Awana Commander

Everyone, at various points in their lives, faces times of temptation, fear, uncertainty… times where faith is tested and tried. In times like these, we hope to respond with worship and trust in the Lord, wait and stand firm through prayer, and watch for His work that surrounds us day to day. In doing so, may we witness the greatness and goodness of our God.
